Elvis Presley Memorial Chapel Dedication Ceremonies' Program, dated Friday, August 17, 1979; comprised of eight pages, 9x5", and published by City of Tupelo, Mississippi and Elvis Presley Memorial Commission. This copy was property of close personal friend of Elvis and Presley family. Almost two years to the day after Elvis' death, twelve-pew, redwood-sided, 1200 square foot chapel and meditation center was dedicated on grounds of Elvis Presley Park in Tupelo. Vernon contributed the family Bible, Colonel Parker arranged purchase of the organ, local musicians played and a policeman sang: 4000 fans were there, too. With letter attesting provenance and authenticity.
